We have had quite the relaxing weekend. We went to the farmer's market Saturday morning and then we went to one of the larger parks in town. We'd never been to this park on Saturday morning and boy was it crazy. There were over a half a dozen fields with youth soccer games being played and there were hundreds of children participating in a fishing clinic on the pond in the middle of the park. It was clear that they had freshly stocked the pond for the fishing clinic because almost every kid had two fish. We wondered about the kids that didn't catch any fish, and felt bad for them. Especially because so many kids had two fish.
We came home for nap time. It is safe to say that for 3 days in a row now, we have gotten both of the boys to nap in their beds at the same time. We are really hoping that this trend continues. Justin went to the office to work with some debaters and I stayed home to man the fort. After naptime we took a family trip to target. I made some corn chowder for dinner and we settled in.
This morning we took a walk to the coffee shop. Justin enjoyed a bloody mary, Jackson enjoyed his juicebox (a new addition to his diet and limited to one a day), and I had a decaf iced coffee. Levi also enjoyed a meal at the coffee shop, and I am getting much better and feeling much more at ease about nursing in public. From there, we went to the playground where Jackson had a great time and Levi napped in the stroller:
bouncy castles!! oh to be young again.
