Here is a shot of Celia giving us her famous "snarfle" face:
Justin gave Nya a flash guitar lesson:
Jackson also quite enjoyed visiting Grandpa Tuna's office
After the workshop ended we headed out of town to the mountains and Montgomery Center where our friends Greta & Brad live with their son Brody. Justin was really into this rural Vermont village and Greta & Brad hooked us up with a sweet place to stay right on the trout river. Jackson & Brody got along great even if Brody is over twice Jackson's age.
After hanging out in Montgomery Center for two days, we headed to Stowe and Morrisville where we went to a party aptly in honor of someone (someone we don't know) being done paying child support. It was definitely a big party there was a band and tents set up and we ran into so many people including one of my High School math teachers. We saw a lot of friends from my high school who all seemed to have babies. Here is a shot of Megan & Tanner:
And Tanner's big brother Maddox:
My friend Tammara's sone Arrison is here:
In other Jackson news- he tried water out of a sippy cup:
Jackson also got a stylie new pair of shoes while we were in Vermont:
After spending a night in Stowe we headed back to Burlington for our favorite Indian brunch with my dad & Bojana and then hung out at my dad's house- here's a great shot of my dad & Jackson together:
The trip home was intense- we arrived at the airport at 4:30AM on Monday to find that our flight was canceled. They couldn't rebook us until the next day and we were glad that if we were going to be stuck somewhere an extra day that it would be in Burlington as opposed to Philly or somewhere else we don't enjoy nearly as much. When we finally got home, we were all pretty relieved. We had a great trip, but it was so cool to introduce Jackson to all of his own toys again, the Johnny Jump up, and his exersaucer. He grew so much while we were away that he can actually enjoy the jump up and exersaucer now.
We had so much fun in Vermont and can't wait to go back again next summer. Special thanks to all of our friends who helped us out with places to to stay while we were there. Greta & Brad, Tammara, & Mary especially.
Yea!!! He really has grown a lot!!

I love how Tuna and Jackson always seem to be making the same face in pictures.
