We have also been trying out lots of new toys now that Jackson is a bit more interactive. One of our favorites is the Jump Up. Jackson is not as excited about it as we are YET, but we think with the way he moves his legs all the time when laying down or in his chair, he will be a lot more excited about it as he gets bigger and stronger.

Milestones
Jackson is now 4 1/2 months old and is achieving many developmental milestones. We are not prepared to say that he is "above the curve" or the smartest kid in town, but he is doing new things every day and he is pretty darn cute doing them. Highlights include: laughing a LOT, making a "razzing sound" which is like when you put your lips together and make farting sounds, holding quite a bit of weight on his legs when standing, almost sitting up (but not really) and yesterday he rolled over from his stomach to his back. But, he hasn't done it since and I think it was just a fluke.

Another new thing around here is a bath every evening. Prior to the last couple of weeks he was getting a bath every 3 days or so. But now he is bigger and making a bigger mess of himself each day he needs a bath every day. After his bath, he either gets lotion or baby massage oil all over himself before putting his Pj's on, eating his last meal of the day and going to bed. Here is a shot of him waiting for his daily post bath rub down.
Two days ago we decided to attempt to not swaddle him at night. This is fairly exciting, if not only for wearing stylie PJ's to bed. He usually wears a plain onezie and then gets wrapped up in his Kiddapotamus swaddle me. But now, he gets his rubdown and the puts on some sweet Pj's. Here's a pic of him getting ready for bed last night
Oops- I fell over!
