School has started again, we are getting back into our busy schedule. Many things have happened though. Jackson's vocabulary has exploded. It wouldn't even make sense to try to count the number of words he has now. He's also gone on somewhat of a hunger strike. He only likes breakfast foods, yogurt, oatmeal, bananas, pears, cheerios and kix. In our bid to try to get him to eat more, consume more calories and get more protein we have decided to try to introduce meat into his diet. We have not really been successful at this. We have also tried to all eat the same things so he sees us eating what he is eating (although Justin is still not eating meat), and to all eat together so he doesn't feel like its just the watch Jackson eat show. So, here he is at the table last night with an identical meal as mommy:

No such luck on this meal, after I was done with my dinner and he was done playing with his he enjoyed yogurt and a banana. It just isn't right to put a kid to bed without dinner and we're not ready to wake up at 4am when he does because he's hungry.
Levi had his 6 month Dr. appt. He weighs over 18lbs and has evened out into the 50th percentile in height and weight. He's right where he should be. One week later, he is battling his first ear infection and enjoying his first round of antibiotics. Levi has not yet started solids, we're going to wait until he can sit up independently.
Speaking of sitting up, that's the developmental skill we are currently working on:

We're also spending a lot of time on Tummy Time, Levi has gotten pretty good at rolling over, but we do this lots every day:

Anyone that knows Jackson knows that he LOVES shoes, today he had the best time wearing my Rain Boots and it was just too cute not to take a picture of it:
