Jackson gets the biggest kick out of Levi, and someday soon, Levi will get a big kick out of his big bro. Today we went to the grocery store early in the morning and then we went to the baby store to pick up some goodies for Auntie Rae's new twins. If you havn't heard, click the link to Rae's blog on the side and check out Morgan & Addyson. They are very cute and we are so happy for Rae & Justin. Addyson is little, so we went and picked out a couple of things from preemie section of the store that fit 4-6lbs. Jackson took a short nap today (yes, 2 hours is a short nap for Jackson), and Levi took a LONG nap IN HIS CRIB. Levi's nap was great because I got to spend some quality time with Jackson all by himself. He had fun playing with Megans hot pink sunglasses:
The George, Kyle, Cade & Ariel came over to grill some food before the game. I made Mac & Cheese and some brownies and the rest of the crew brought over some redic foodies, George smoked some ribs, made some brats & some chicken, he is glazing a pork loin in peaches & mango to cook on the grill, plus we grilled veggies, had pasta salad and cole slaw. Thank god Levi was taking a nap when the crew showed up because Jackson totally freaked out about so many people being here and had a complete meltdown for about an hour. But then he totally got his act together, felt comfortable with our guests and was the cutest little guy. Once he figured out that HE could be the center of attention, his attitude totally changed and he was dancing and singing and in general too cute. Levi woke up from his nap and chilled for a while
. Last night was a big score because the boys both went to bed by 8:15 and stayed asleep. Levi slept until 1:30 and it was awesome. And tonight they were both in bed by 7:30. I don't know how long Levi will sleep, but I am hoping for the sleep promotes sleep philosophy- and maybe since he slept for so long this afternoon, he will sleep even longer tonight. George just announced that the food is ready and the K-state game starts in a little over an hour.......but secretly, I am not so confident in our chances vs. UCLA this evening.
