Jackson is officially a "Toddler"

Jackson is now officially a toddler. I am fairly sad about this because, well babies are cute, but at the same time I am excited about it because he is absorbing and interacting more and more each day. He now will associate new words with objects every day. He is learning things like where his shirt is, where his belly button is, hair, nose, etc. And every day he is adding things to his brain. This is clearly the most "fun" stage we have seen in Jackson's development.

So, as a toddler he has acquired two new things. First, he now has a little table and chairs that he sits at in the dining room to eat his lunch. We are pretty much just doing lunch there now, but trying to teach him to stay in his seat for the meal.

He has also recently moved to a NEW ROOM! He got a new crib, and dresser- his previous furniture is going to the Bro. His room is a Dr. Seuss room. For this, his Nana made new curtains and also cut out Dr. Seuss characters with wood and painted them to be hung all over the room. We are VERY happy with the colorful result.

  1. Jackson looks so grown up, sitting at that table. His room looks great!
