Jackson in Minnesota

We set out for Minneapolis at about 11am yestrday. We got to Lawrence (about 1.5 hours from our house) and a trucker drove up along side us flailing his arms at us. So, we pulled over to find that our license plate had fallen off of our car! As we were stopped on the side of the road, a state trooper pulled up and asked us why we were stopped. We told him our predicament, that we were on our way out of town for a long trip and our license plate had fallen off. We asked him what he suggested we should do, and he said we obviously had no choice but to continue on our trip with no license plate. He said we should keep our registration handy just in case. He also informed us that we could get a ticket for having no license plate even if our car was legally registered. So, we continued on our trip with no license plate. We were positive that we would get pulled over several times but we made it a whole 500 miles without getting pulled over at all! We were shocked with how out of it the cops in Missouri, Iowa and Minnesota are!

Anyways, we made it to Minneapolis to my Aunt Mary & Uncle John's house. Two VERY exciting things are there. First of all, my Grandparents are here which is great AND my Cousin Elizabeth had a baby a week after Jackson was born so we were very excited to get Jackson and Conner together for the first time.

Here are some sweet pics of Jackson and Conner playing together:

And another exciting thing is that my cousin Kate got both the boys Wu Tang bibs for Christmas- here is a shot of Jackson sporting his.
